Compassionate grounds include family matters sufficient to support an employee’s transfer.
For service with MCW, an employee other than a casual employee, shall be granted a Personal Leave entitlement, on a pro rata basis, as follows, • Up to and including 10 years of service 15 days per year • 11 years and beyond 18 days per year An employee is entitled to use their Personal Leave if they are unable to attend work as a result of: • Illness or injury; • The need to care for their “immediate family” or a relative who is a member of the same household; • Compassionate grounds.
