Commuted Allowance definition

Commuted Allowance means an allowance paid to an employee in lieu of relevant allowances and other specified payments which reasonably approximates the average sum that would otherwise be payable to the employee under this Agreement where there is: authorisation to do so from the General Manager of the Division; and agreement on the method for calculating that Commuted Allowance between the Employer and the Union.
Commuted Allowance means, subject to the provisions of Clause 9.4 of this Agency Specific Agreement, an allowance paid in lieu of the shift penalties provided under the General Agreement and the Award.

Examples of Commuted Allowance in a sentence
