Community Standards process definition

Community Standards process means the process defined in The Student Code of Conduct to address behavioral concerns within the Bridgewater State University community involving students. Potential violations of the Equal Opportunity, Diversity, and Affirmative Action Plan are normally managed by the Office of Equal Opportunity under the procedures outlined in the EO Plan.

Examples of Community Standards process in a sentence

  • Possession of empty alcohol containers (cans, bottles, shot glasses, wine glasses, etc.), are indicative of possession of alcohol, and as such, owners of the empty containers and/or the residents of the room may be subject to being charged with possession/consumption of alcohol under the Community Standards process.

  • Additionally, disciplinary action through the Community Standards process may occur.
