Community Recreational Facility definition

Community Recreational Facility means an improvement on Joint Use Lands that is above and beyond what may be required to meet the City park and recreational facilities requirements and the MPD permit condition.
Community Recreational Facility means an area as defined in O. Reg. 268/18 under Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017, S.O. 2017 c. 26, Schedule 3
Community Recreational Facility means a building or site used for the purpose of active recreation or athletic activities where patrons are predominantly participants and any spectators are incidental. This includes but is not limited to skating and hockey rinks, curling rinks, swimming pools, sports fields, bowling alleys and racquet courts and includes necessary accessory uses such as cafeterias, pro-shop and amusement establishments exclusively servicing the users of the facility as well as special events; (centre de loisirs)

Examples of Community Recreational Facility in a sentence

  • It is possible that, prior to the time the Developer is required to convey to the District the Agreed School Site upon which the Joint Use Land is located, the Developer may choose to construct a Community Recreational Facility on the Joint Use Land.
