Common Use Gates definition

Common Use Gates means the space in the Terminal designated by the Managing Director to be used in common with other Airlines for passenger holdrooms and gate areas and does not include any Preferential Use Gates.
Common Use Gates means any Port controlled gates, excepting gates associated with Non-Preferential Ground Load Holdrooms, not assigned by the Port as Preferential Space to any Air Carrier, and which the Port reserves for the flexible and temporary use of any Air Carrier serving the Airport. Common Use Gates include all equipment and utilities necessary to operate from the gates, including loading bridges, ground power units, and potable water supply.
Common Use Gates means the Gates as designated, both in number and location, from time to time by the Director in accordance with Article 3.

Examples of Common Use Gates in a sentence

  • The Committee shall review and make recommendations to the Port about the numbers of Gates to be reserved for use as Common Use Gates during any Fiscal Year and about the locations within the Terminal of Common Use Gates and Preferential Use Gates.

  • The Port shall retain exclusive control of the use of all Common Use Gates.

  • The Committee’s recommendations about the numbers of Gates to be reserved for use as Common Use Gates shall take into account the expected average number of Scheduled Seats to be accommodated by all Gates at the Airport during the coming year.

  • The holdroom cost shall be added to the Apron Fees associated with the Common Use Gates, and the equipment Rent for loading bridges at the Common Use Gates and Common Use Equipment fees to determine the total to be recovered.

  • The resulting cost per holdroom shall be multiplied by the number of Common Use Gates to determine the holdroom cost to be recovered by Common Use Gate fees.

  • City shall update Exhibit D by November 1, 2020 and November 1st of each year thereafter to display the assignments of Preferential Use Gates and the locations of Common Use Gates, effective February 1, 2020 and February 1st of each year thereafter.

Common Use Gates shall include, but is not limited to, holdrooms, gate apron areas designating the aircraft parking envelope and ramp equipment staging, and jetbridges.

  • Common Channel Signaling (CCS) means an out-of-band, packet-switched, signaling network used to transport supervision signals, control signals, and data messages. It is a special network, fully separate from the transmission path of the public switched network. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the CCS protocol used by the Parties shall be SS7.

  • Station Use means the electric energy produced by the Generating Facility that is (a) used within the Generating Facility to power the lights, motors, control systems and other electrical loads that are necessary for Operation, and (b) consumed within the Generating Facility’s electric energy distribution system as losses needed to deliver electric energy to the Site Host Load, and

  • Energy Use Intensity (EUI) means the kBTUs (1,000 British Thermal Units) used per square foot of gross floor area.
