Commemorative Flag definition

Commemorative Flag means any flag which identifies with a specific date, historical event, cause, nation or group of people, whereby the City honors or commemorates the date, event, cause, nation or people by flying the flag. Commemorative Flags shall be displayed at City facilities identified herein only upon City Council direction, consistent with the City’s vision, mission, and guiding principles, incorporating themes of diversity, equity, social justice, and inclusion.
Commemorative Flag as defined in this Policy shall mean a flag that identifies with a specific historical event, cause, nation or group of people that the Commissioners chose to honor or commemorate the date, event, cause, nation, or group of people by flying the flag.

Commemorative Flag means any flag other than the U.S. Flag, the Wisconsin Flag, the Village Flag, the POW/MIA Flag, or the flags identified in Section 4.a. (2) and (3) of this Policy.
