COMET definition

COMET means The Comet Products Corporation, a Delaware corporation.
COMET means the consortium led by Corsair and Centerbridge that entered into the Investment Agreement with RBSG, RBS plc, NatWest plc and others on 27 September 2013.
COMET shall have the meaning set forth in the Preamble hereto.

  • In no way is COMET to be construed as the agent or acting as the agent of the Customer in any respect, all other provisions of the Agreement notwithstanding.

  • Unless otherwise provided for in the Agreement, the Customer agrees that to the extent permitted by law it will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless COMET and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from any third party claims which arise from the Customer's gross negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of the Agreement.

  • The foregoing shall not apply to information that has been made publicly available by COMET, that the Customer is required to disclose by applicable law, order, subpoena or similar request of a governmental or judicial authority of competent jurisdiction or that the Customer has discovered independently of COMET’s information or materials.

  • COMET EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, AND THE CUSTOMER EXPRESSLY WAIVES, ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, NONINFRINGEMENT, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
