Combatant definition

Combatant means any person eighteen (18) years of age or older who engages in a professional unarmed combat contest.
Combatant means a member of a regular or irregular force or armed group or a person who has been participating actively in military activities or recruitment to military activities;
Combatant means any person who engages in unarmed combat competitions;

  • This clause, including this paragraph (q), applies if, in performance of this contract, Seller personnel are supporting U.S. Armed Forces deployed outside the United States in (1) contingency operations; (2) peace operations consistent with Joint Publication 3-07.3; or (3) other military operations or military exercises, when designated by the Combatant Commander or as directed by the Secretary of Defense.

  • Dangerous weapon means any weapon, device, instrument, material, or substance, animate or inanimate, which under the circumstances in which it is used, attempted to be used, or threatened to be used is readily capable of causing death or serious physical injury.

  • Transit-oriented development means infrastructure improvements that are located within 1/2 mile of a transit station or transit-oriented facility that promotes transit ridership or passenger rail use as determined by the board and approved by the municipality in which it is located.
