College Day definition

College Day means all college classes and assignments which fall between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
College Day or “instructional day” means a day when the College’s regular instructional program is offered, including summer school.

Examples of College Day in a sentence

  • In order to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ teacher participation in the shared governance structure of the College and to avoid potential conflicts of interest, full time teachers shall not accept employment for compensation from an employer, other than the College or the HFCC Federation of Teachers; receive fees for professional/technical services; or conduct business-related activity for monetary gain during the regular College Day (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

  • Co-curricular programs provided to Early Admission students may include College Success Summits, Early College Day, Early College Graduation, and invitation to various LSSC functions and events.

  • The Mandatory Flex Days (other than Convocation Day and College Day) shall be determined by the mutual agreement of the President of the respective College and the chair of the respective College Professional Development Committee.

  • When such hearings and conferences are held during the College Day, all employees whose presence is required shall be excused for the purpose.

  • The District shall provide CHI time during College Day of each school year to conduct a general membership meeting and meet with bargaining unit members regarding association business.

  • The District shall provide LBCCFA time during College Day of each school year to conduct a general membership meeting.

  • The change will be memorialized in an email to the employee with a copy to the Association President at least three (3) business days before the All College Day.

  • A classified employee not normally scheduled to work during the times designated for All College Day and the classified employee’s supervisor may mutually agree to a temporary change of hours in order to attend All College Day.

  • Employees shall have release time, if requested by the employee, to attend official College activities/meetings such as College Day, Graduation Day, and College recognition ceremonies.

  • On All College Day, the Union may, on request and subject to available space, hold a voluntary meeting to discuss union business.
