Collateral radiation definition
Collateral radiation means any electronic product radiation, except laser radiation, emitted by a laser as a result of the operation of the laser or any component of the laser product that is physically necessary for the operation of the laser. The accessible emission and maximum permissible exposure limits for collateral radiation are specified in 21 CFR 1040.10, 1993 edition, published April 1, 1993, by the Office of the Federal Register, National Archives and Records Administration, incorporated by reference and on file with the Department and the Office of the Secretary of State. This incorporation by reference contains no future editions or amendments.
