Code Officer definition

Code Officer as used in this Ordinance shall mean the individual in City Government designed by the City Council to administer and enforce this Ordinance. The Code Officer may delegate his authority hereunder to such assistants as may be authorized by the City Council.
Code Officer has the authority to grant written waivers of the provisions of this Code in appropriate instances which are determined by a Code Officer. However, WCM expects that waivers, if any, will be granted only in rare instances and documented by the Code Officer for WCM's files; and some provisions of the Code that are mandated by the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") cannot be waived.
Code Officer means any person appointed by the Joint Secretary, Secrecy or any other officer authorised by the Chairman as such for affixing codes on the answer books of candidates of various examinations conducted by the Board.

Code Officer. - means any official designated by the Blakely Borough Council to carry out duties under this Ordinance and may include, by way of illustration and not by means of limitation, any member of the Blakely Police Department, the Blakely Borough Zoning and Enforcement Officer or any other duly designated representative of the Borough of Blakely.
