Code of Evidence definition

Code of Evidence means the law governing the admissibility of evidence in the Courts of Southern Sudan, as may be applicable from time to time;

Examples of Code of Evidence in a sentence

  • The arbitration shall be conducted pursuant to the California Code of Civil Procedure and the California Code of Evidence.

  • The California Code of Evidence shall apply to testimony and documents submitted to the arbitrator.

  • The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the New York Code of Civil Procedure and the New York Code of Evidence.

  • Further, in the event this settlement does not become final in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, the Agreement and all matters leading up to or related to the settlement are confidential settlement communications inadmissible under California Code of Evidence § 1152(a), Rule 408 of the Federal Rules of Evidence, and/or any and all other applicable federal and state rules, regulations, and laws.

  • Any SFPD investigative records and information created prior to execution of the MOU that is disclosed under this MOU is “official information” under California Code of Evidence, section 1040 and disclosure of such information under this MOU shall not constitute waiver of the privilege as provided for under California Government Code, section 6254.5 subdivision (e).

  • This Agreement, all discussions leading thereto, and all of the terms herein constitute compromises and offers to compromise under Connecticut Code of Evidence 4- 8 and any similar state court rule or statute precluding admissibility thereof as evidence of the validity or amount of a disputed claim.
