Tabarru’ means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.

Kerma or "K" means the quantity defined by the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements. Cropland means land used for the production of adapted crops for harvest, alone or in a rotation with grasses and legumes, and includes row crops, small grain crops, hay crops, nursery crops, orchard crops, and other similar specialty crops.
DR means an American Depositary Receipt, European Depositary Receipt, or Global Depositary Receipt or similar instrument issued by a depositary to represent the underlying securities held by the depositary.
SAM means the federal System for Award Management (SAM); which is the federal repository into which an entity must provide information required for the conduct of business as a recipient. 2 CFR 25 Appendix A (1)(C)(1).
Colony means a hive and its equipment and appurtenances, including bees, comb, honey, pollen, and brood.
We/Us/Our means TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.

Seaplane means an aeroplane capable normally of taking off from and alighting solely on water;

Becquerel (Bq) means the SI unit of activity. One becquerel is equal to 1 disintegration or transformation per second (dps or tps).
Qard means a contract of lending money whereby the borrower is obliged to repay the equivalent amount to lender.
Diocese means the Church of England diocese in which the Academies are situated;
WARO means "weeks after the effective date for award of the contractual action".
Warden means the Warden In-charge of Hall of Residence VIII and includes other Wardens of the said Hall.
