Coal Controller definition

Coal Controller means the person appointed as such by the Central 15 Government under the Coal Controller Organisation (Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 1986 for the time being in force;
Coal Controller means the person appointed as the Coal Controller by the Government of India;

  • Obtain Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate(CTO), Permission for opening of Mine from DGMS, Coal Controller Organization (CCO) and any other permissions/clearances required from various statutory Authorities for operation of mine at MDO’s own cost.

  • In case any dispute arises with respect to exhaustion of Coal reserves, the decision of Coal Controller Office (“CCO”)shall be final and binding.

  • Provided further that, the Contract Period shall be deemed to have expired in the event the Parties mutually agree that the Coal reserves in the Non-forest area of Mines are exhausted and the Mine Closure activities and Monitoring as required in approved Mine closure plan are carried out to the complete satisfaction of Coal Controller Organisation and/ or other Statutory Authorities and TANGEDCO.
