Co-op Program definition

Co-op Program means the advertising cooperative initiative for an OEM to reimburse franchised dealers for compliant advertisements.
Co-op Program means a program of study where the student alternates between academic studies and paid work placements related to his/her areas of interest.
Co-op Program means a program of study which alternates periods of study with periods of work placement. In order for a student to be supported through the PSSSP, the co-op must be required and is not to exceed 50% of an academic term. The co-op placement must be approved by the post-secondary institute as a suitable learning situation.

Examples of Co-op Program in a sentence

  • Prior to the assignment of a ‘Fail’ grade in any co-op course, the Co-op Program will notify the student that they are at risk of failure and the basis for that risk, and provide the student a reasonable opportunity to provide information regarding the circumstances underlying the risk of failure.

  • After three consecutive years of service in a Scientific and Engineering Bargaining Unit position within MDOT, a unit employee who had previous employment in the MDOT Civil Engineer and Construction Technician Co-op Program, shall have that time credited as continuous service hours for purposes of longevity and annual leave accruals only.

  • I may be eligible to receive a ‘Pass’ for the work term at the discretion of the Co-op Program, if I have completed all of the above and all of the following occur: • A Coordinator determines that my performance and learning process on the co-op work term to date have been satisfactory; and • My employer evaluates my work term performance as “Satisfactory” or better.

  • If I break my contract of employment, for a position secured through co-op or via my self-directed job search efforts, I will not be satisfying the conditions of the Co-op Program and will be assigned a ‘Fail’ grade for the co-op course and withdrawn from the Co-op Program unless I have obtained permission to breach the contract from the Co-op Program prior to doing so.

  • If the number of students in the Co-op Program exceeds the maximum number of students as determined by the State of Michigan for five (5) periods, then an additional full or part-time position will be added.

  • To maintain good academic standing to remain in the Co-op Program.

  • I am expected to count this position as a co-op work term if the position meets the Arts Co-op Program criteria; I may be withdrawn from the Program if I fail to do so.

  • A Student withdrawing from Georgia Institute of Technology Department of Housing for one of the following reasons will be charged a prorated amount based on days of occupancy determined by completing an official check-out as defined in section X., B.: (1) Graduation, (2) Military, (3) Medical, (4) Georgia Institute of Technology Co-op Program, Georgia Institute of Technology Required Internship, Study Abroad, or (5) Academic Dismissal.

  • A Student withdrawing from Georgia Institute of Technology Department of Housing for one of the following reasons will be charged a prorated amount based on days of occupancy determined by completing an official check-out as defined in section IX., B.: (1) Graduation, (2) Military, (3) Medical, (4) Approved Georgia Institute of Technology Co-op Program, Georgia Institute of Technology Required Internships, Georgia Institute of Technology Study Abroad, or (5) Academic Dismissal.

Related to Co-op Program

  • PEBB program means the program within the HCA that administers insurance and other benefits for eligible employees (as described in WAC 182-12-114), eligible retired employees (as described in WAC 182-12-171 and 182-12-180), eligible survivors (as described in WAC 182-12-180, 182-12-250, and 182-12-265), eligible dependents (as de- scribed in WAC 182-12-250 and 182-12-260) and others as defined in RCW 41.05.011.

  • AML Program has the meaning ascribed thereto in Schedule 2.1(F)(8) hereof.
