CNAM definition

CNAM means Caller ID with Name.
CNAM means Caller Name Presentation or Caller Name Deliver and is used in telephone networks to provide name identification of the calling party. The CNAM information is most often displayed in Caller ID.
CNAM or “Calling Name Information” means a Telecommunications Carrier’s records of its end user customers names associated with one or more assigned ten-digit telephone numbers, as referenced in GR-1158-CORE.
