Cluster Study Process definition

Cluster Study Process means a process whereby a group of Interconnection Requests are studied together, instead of serially, for the purpose of conducting Phase I and II Studies.
Cluster Study Process means the interconnection study process set forth in GIP Section 4. Commercial Operation shall mean the status of an Electric Generating Unit or project phase at a Generating Facility that has commenced generating electricity for sale, excluding electricity generated during Trial Operation. Commercial Operation Date of an Electric Generating Unit or project phase shall mean the date on which thean Electric Generating Unit or project phase at thea Generating Facility commences Commercial Operation as agreed to by the applicable Participating TO, the CAISO, and the Interconnection CustomerParties pursuant to Appendix E to this LGIA, and in accordance with the implementation plan agreed to by the Participating TO and the CAISO for multiple individual Electric Generating Units or project phases at a Generating Facility where an Interconnection Customer intends to establish separate Commercial Operation Dates for those Electric Generating Units or project phasesthe GIA.

Examples of Cluster Study Process in a sentence

  • Cluster Study Process shall mean the interconnection study process set forth in GIP Section 4.

  • For Interconnection Requests processed under the Cluster Study Process described in the GIDAP, any of the following: the Phase I Interconnection Study conducted or caused to be performed by the CAISO, the reassessment of the Phase I Interconnection Study Base Case conducted or caused to be performed by the CAISO prior to the commencement of the Phase II Interconnection Study, or the Phase II Interconnection Study conducted or caused to be performed by the CAISO, pursuant to the GIDAP.

  • The Generating Facility did not participate in the Cluster Study Process and was not subject to the Phase I or Phase II Interconnection Studies.

  • Queue Cluster shall mean a set of Interconnection Requests in an interconnection study cycle processed pursuant to the Cluster Study Process.

  • The terms of this Article 6.4 apply to Small Generating Facilities that have been processed under either the Cluster Study Process or the Independent Study Track Process of the GIDAP set forth in CAISO Tariff Appendix DD.

  • Cluster Application Window shall mean a period of time specified by the Distribution Provider in which Interconnection Requests will be accepted for processing under the Cluster Study Process as set forth in Section 4.1 of the GIP.

  • At Interconnection Customer's option, the Transmission Provider and Interconnection Customer will identify alternative Point(s) of Interconnection and configurations at the Scoping Meeting to evaluate in the DISIS Cluster Study Process and attempt to eliminate alternatives in a reasonable fashion given resources and information available.

  • Where the Commission has authorized a Utility to administer a Cluster Study Process, all Interconnection Requests studied in a single Cluster shall be considered equally queued but Clusters initiated earlier in time shall be considered to have an earlier Queue Position than Clusters initiated later.

  • For a Transmission Provider that has transitioned to the Definitive Interconnection Study Process under the procedure described in Section 7, the Transmission Provider shall annually administer a Definitive Interconnection System Impact Cluster Study Process as provided for in this Section.

  • For Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC and Duke Energy Progress, LLC, the Commission has authorized a Definitive Interconnection Cluster Study Process, as provided for in Sections 4.2.5, 4.4, and 6.3.4. Interconnection Customers may initially elect to obtain an Informational Interconnection Study, as provided for under Section 1.4, prior to submitting an Interconnection Request and proceeding into the Definitive Interconnection Study Process.
