The Employer will reimburse Employees who, at the beginning of their next registration year, have active registration in the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), two hundred dollars ($200.00) for their dues if they have accumulated eight hundred and six (806) or more regular hours actually worked in the previous fiscal year.
Reimbursement will be provided by the Employer upon submission by the Employee of a certified true copy of the receipt issued by the CLPNA.
The Employer may recognize experience if more than a three (3) year lapse has occurred and the Employee has fulfilled the licensing requirements of the CLPNA.
The RN must register with the CLPNA within sixty (60) days of hire.

A Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may accompany and represent her, at the request of an Employee in an investigation involving the CLPNA relative to the LPN License and in the processing of a grievance with the Employer.
Effective the date of ratification, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is in a point four Full-Time (.40 FTE) position or greater as of December 1, in each calendar year and has active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) at the beginning of each calendar year shall receive two hundred dollars ($200.00) reimbursement for his/her CLPNA registration.

Employee who has worked an average of point four full time equivalent (0.4 FTE) or greater in the previous fiscal year and has active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses Association (CLPNA) at the beginning of the next registration year, shall receive a two hundred and fifty dollar ($250.00) [effective with the 2023 registration renewal year, increase to three hundred dollars ($300.00] reimbursement to their College of Licensed Practical Nurses Association (CLPNA) registration fees.
