Closed Adoption definition
Closed Adoption means a person assumes the parenting of a child, from that child's biological or legal parent or parents, and, in so doing, permanently transfers all rights and responsibilities, from the biological parent or parents. It is intended to sever all ties between the child and his/her biological family.
