Clinically relevant definition

Clinically relevant means medically necessary and resulting in the development, maintenance, or restoration, to the maximum extent practicable, of the functioning of an individual.
Clinically relevant means any study-related activity that could have an effect, adverse or otherwise, on the clinical treatment of the subject. This definition includes investigational drugs, devices, or biologics that could, separately or in combination with other substances or activities, interfere with the clinical treatment of the subject or place the subject at greater risk of harm.

  • Biological product means a virus, therapeutic serum, toxin, antitoxin, vaccine, blood, blood component or derivative, allergenic product, protein other than a chemically synthesized polypeptide, or analogous product, or arsphenamine or any derivative of arsphenamine or any other trivalent organic arsenic compound, applicable to the prevention, treatment, or cure of a disease or condition of human beings.

  • Chemical dependency professional means a person certified as a chemical dependency professional by the department of health under chapter 18.205 RCW.

  • Medical use means the intentional internal or external administration of radioactive material or the radiation from radioactive material to patients or human research subjects under the supervision of an authorized user.

  • Endpoint means any Federal Reserve Bank, financial institution, local clearing house, courier or other entity or location for the delivery of cash letters or other presentment of Imaged Items or Substitute Checks.
