Clearing Bids definition

Clearing Bids refers to those Bids selected in accordance with the procedures set forth in Section 2.1.1(b)(i)(c) hereof.

Examples of Clearing Bids in a sentence

  • In addition, in the event Sufficient Clearing Bids are not made in an Auction, or if an Auction is not held for any reason, such next succeeding Dividend Period will be a 7-Day Dividend Period and the Trust may not again give a Notice of Special Dividend Period for the APS (and any such attempted notice shall be null and void) until Sufficient Clearing Bids have been made in an Auction with respect to a 7-Day Dividend Period.

  • Such change in the length of any Rate Period shall not occur if (1) an Auction for shares of such series shall not be held on such Auction Date for any reason or (2) an Auction for shares of such series shall be held on such Auction Date but Sufficient Clearing Bids for shares of such series shall not exist in such Auction.

  • If there are not Sufficient Clearing Bids for the first Auction Period, the Auction Rate for the new Auction Period shall be the Maximum Rate, and the Auction Period shall be a seven-day Auction Period.

  • A Special Rate Period will not be effective unless Sufficient Clearing Bids exist at the Auction in respect of such Special Rate Period (that is, in general, the aggregate amount of Tortoise Notes subject to Buy Orders by Potential Holders is at least equal to the aggregate amount of Tortoise Notes subject to Sell Orders by Existing Holders).

  • Upon the occurrence of a Payment Default that has not been waived or cured on or prior to any Auction Date, no Auction will be held, all Submitted Bids and Submitted Sell Orders shall be rejected, the existence of Sufficient Clearing Bids shall be of no effect and the Auction Rate for the next succeeding Auction Period shall equal the Overdue Rate on and as of such Auction Date.

  • The length of an Auction Period or the Standard Auction Period may not be changed pursuant to this Section 3.04 unless Sufficient Clearing Bids existed at both the Auction immediately preceding the date the notice of such change was given and the Auction immediately preceding such changed Auction Period or Standard Auction Period or if a Payment Default has occurred and has not been cured.

  • The Special Rate Period shall not commence if (a) an Auction for Preferred Shares shall not be held on such Auction Date for any reason or (b) an Auction for Preferred Shares shall be held on such Auction Date but Sufficient Clearing Bids for such shares shall not exist in such Auction.
