If applicable, the Rules and Procedures Manual of the National Securities Clearing Corporation, as amended from time to time, including the rules and procedures applicable to the utilization of the Defined Contribution Clearing and Settlement System, Fund/SERV and NETWORKING, as amended from time to time, are hereby made a part of this agreement as if fully set forth herein and shall be a part of each processed transaction.
It should be noted that, under the Central Clearing and Settlement System (“CCASS”) rules, HKSCC as nominee holder shall have no obligation to take any legal action or court proceedings to enforce any rights on behalf of the investors in respect of the SSE securities and SZSE securities in the PRC or elsewhere.

Hong Kong law recognises the proprietary interest of investors in shares held for them by their broker or custodian in the Central Clearing and Settlement System.
