Class Surveyor definition

Class Surveyor means the surveyor or surveyors appointed by CLASS in accordance with paragraph 4.3.2 to perform the Services under this Agreement;
Class Surveyor. Representative(s) of Classification Society deputed for the purpose of inspection and / or approval(s) "Classification The Classification Society referred to in Article II clause 3.3 Society" or "Class"

  • Sellers to arrange Class Surveyor at Buyers expenses who shall be in attendance at the time of underwater inspection.

  • Should any damages in the underwater parts affecting Class be found which in the opinion of the Class Surveyor can be deferred for the next drydocking, Sellers have the option to repair the same immediately, or to make a monetary settlement with the Buyers at a mutually agreed sum as per the average of two quotations given by reputable repair yards or work shops within the delivery area, one nominated by the Sellers and one nominated by the Buyers.

Related to Class Surveyor

  • Surveyor means a professional surveyor licensed under article 20 of the occupational code, 1980 PA 299, MCL 339.2001 to 339.2014.

  • Land surveyor means a person who, by reason of his knowledge of the several sciences and of the principles of land surveying, and of the planning and design of land developments acquired by practical experience and formal education, is qualified to engage in the practice of land surveying, and whose competence has been attested by the Board through licensure as a land surveyor.

  • Professional surveyor means a person who, by reason of knowledge of law, mathematics, physical sciences, and techniques of measuring acquired by professional education and practical experience, is qualified to engage in the practice of professional surveying.

  • Quantity Surveyor means a duly qualified quantity surveyor of at least five (5) year’s experience in the assessment of building material and construction costs. Quantity Surveyor Assessment means an assessment by an independent Quantity Surveyor of the Construction Cost to the reasonable satisfaction of the Council. Regulation means the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation, 2000 (as amended).

  • Purveyor means an agency, subdivision of the state, municipal corporation, firm, company, mutual or cooperative association, institution, partnership, or person or other entity owning or operating a public water system. Purveyor also means the authorized agents of these entities.
