Examples of Class B airspace in a sentence
VFR departures that will exit any Class B airspace will be issued a cardinal heading appropriate to their direction of flight that will expedite their departure from Class B airspace (i.e. NORTH, NORTHWEST, SOUTH, SOUTHEAST, etc.).
VFR departures remaining within Class B airspace will be issued a heading that will expedite their ability to join the pattern altitude and pattern direction of their destination, then the aircraft will be handed off the controller providing Approach services (when present).
All aircraft operating in the traffic pattern should remain clear of the Dulles Airport Class B airspace and maintain a pattern of left hand turns.
