Claim Payments definition

Claim Payments for a Contract Month means payments made by Great-West for a Contract Month for benefits provided under the terms of the Plan, less any benefit credits under the plan, such as but not limited to refunds and voided checks. In no event will the amounts paid for investigation of or defense against claims be included in determining Claim Payments for any Contract Month.
Claim Payments means the sum of all Eligible Claims Payments for all Covered Units in excess of the Specific Deductible, subject to the Specific Percentage Reimbursable [and Lifetime Maximum Specific Benefit] for each Covered Unit, which are not otherwise excluded from the Contract; and
Claim Payments means any payments made to either (a) CMA; or (b) Spaces; or (c) Interserve; or any Assignee in settlement of the Claims or pursuant to any Judgment. Schedule 10 : Escrow

Examples of Claim Payments in a sentence

  • The Province will under no circumstances be liable for interest for failure to make a payment within the time limit provided for in section D3.2 (Claim Payments).

  • Pursuant to the agreement between Claim Administrator and the Host Blue(s), Claim Administrator has agreed to reimburse each Host Blue for all Claim Payments made on Claim Administrator’s behalf for those Covered Persons of Employer receiving Covered Services in the state and/or service area of such Host Blue.

  • If Employer has failed to pay when due any amount owed Claim Administrator, Claim Administrator shall be under no obligation to make any further Claim Payments until such default is cured.

  • After the final settlement, Claim Administrator shall be released from any further liability for Claim Payments and Claim adjustments under this Agreement, and as of the date Employer shall assume full liability and responsibility for all further administration of Claim Payments.

  • In consideration of Claim Administrator’s continuing to make Claim Payments in accordance with Section 4 of this Exhibit for Run–Off Claims, Employer shall continue to make Employer Payments for all such Claims paid by Claim Administrator up to the final settlement outlined below.

  • Claim Payments paid by Claim Administrator in prior Claim Settlement Periods that have not been included in a prior Claim settlement.
