Civil Work definition

Civil Work means the labor and materials necessary in the performance of demolition, construction and renovation work (e.g., roads, grading, fencing and structural improvements, including, but not limited to, any buildings, towers and antennas) in order to construct a System Element Facility in accordance with Exhibit E.
Civil Work means repair, alteration, addition, amendment, superimposition, construction and reconstruction works of structures, buildings, seed processing plants, seed farms, roads, streets, bridges, utilities, watercourses, water supply projects, wastewater plants, water distribution and wastewater conveyance facilities, storm drainage and flood control projects involving usage of the construction and construction related materials, implements and equipment.
Civil Work means the civil work to be performed by a contractor engaged directly by District pursuant to a separate contract by and between such contractor and District for the work defined in Exhibit G, Attachment J.

  • Provider shall have a reasonable opportunity to inspect, review and comment on the Civil Work contract, including the scope thereof, to ensure compliance with this Section 13(C), provided that such review shall in no way create any liability on Provider or void the provisions of this Subsection.

  • At the direction of Provider, District shall cause the Civil Work Contractor to re-perform or otherwise correct any defective Civil Work in accordance with the Civil Work contract during construction.

  • No later than the Notice to Proceed (as defined below), Provider shall provide to District a third-party assessment of the eligibility for the Civil Work.

  • District shall enter into a contract for the Civil Work in a manner that is intended to allow Provider to timely perform its obligations hereunder, including with respect to the General Terms and Specifications provided in Exhibit G, the Commercial Operation Deadline and the other obligations of Provider hereunder and which contract includes a work schedule that has been provided to, and approved by, Provider.

  • Provider shall procure all equipment and, other than the Civil Work, services required for Project design, construction, commissioning, system monitoring, warranties and operation and maintenance as described in this Agreement and as shown in District-approved final Engineering Design Drawings, specifications, and data sheets.
