CILB definition

CILB means the Construction Industry Licensing Board of Palm Beach County, as established by Laws of Florida, Chapter 67-1876, as amended. "Contractor" shall mean the person who is qualified for and responsible for an entire project contracted for and means (except as exempted by Laws of Florida, Chapter 67-1876, as amended) the person who, for compensation, undertakes to, submits a bid to, or does him/herself or by others construct, repair, alter, remodel, add to, subtract from, or improveany building orstructure, including related improvements to real estate, for othersor for resale toothers. Acontractor shall hold alicense or certificate as provided by law before bidding or performing work requiring such license or certificate.
