Examples of CHIS in a sentence

  • A combined authorisation can be given for a CHIS and also directed surveillance.

  • Persons who complain about anti-social behaviour, and are asked to keep a diary, will not normally be a CHIS, as they are not required to establish or maintain a relationship for a covert purpose.

  • RIPA regulates two types of covert surveillance, (Directed Surveillance and Intrusive Surveillance) and the use of Covert Human Intelligence Sources (CHIS).
