DFM resources this process on several levels in support of campus emergency management and response procedures, including: • participating in the emergency management team; • acting as Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Deputy Chief Warden positions where staffing allows; • facilitating and coordinating evacuation training; • liaising with local emergency services; and • facilitating warden training and building evacuation plans.
Where an employee has completed appropriate training and has been appointed by the Agency Head as a Chief Warden or Emergency Warden, the agency will pay the employee a fortnightly allowance at the rates outlined in Table D1.
A staff member who has been appointed as a Chief Warden will be paid at the rate as set out in Schedule 3 for the duration of the appointment.
Such allowances are paid on a pro rata basis for part-time employee appointed as Chief Warden.
