Charis definition

Charis means "the Gospel" Col.1:6, and the divine favor shown in Christ (Eph. 1:6- 7). It is a stream of endless benefaction, flowing from an inexhaustible fountain; the riches of Christ which are unsearchable (Eph. 1:7; 3:8).

Examples of Charis in a sentence

  • The audits would be conducted during the normal business hours of Charis and shall not be conducted more than once each year without prior approval of Charis.

  • Charis shall reply in writing to an audit report within ninety (90) days after receipt of such report.

  • Charis shall obtain all necessary permits, rights of way and other approvals as may be required to construct operate and maintain the Pipeline.

  • Charis shall invoice EXCO for the Water delivered by EXCO each month for the water delivered by EXCO in the prior month with the amounts due within thirty (30) days from the date of the invoice.

  • EXCO warrants to Charis that EXCO has good title to, or the unqualified right to tender, the Water gathered hereunder.

  • In the event EXCO so terminates this Agreement, all fees paid to HWR (and Charis as predecessor) pursuant to Section 5.1 shall be promptly repaid to EXCO (and not more than 5 business days following receipt by HWR of written notice of termination of this Agreement by EXCO).

Related to Charis

  • Charity means a body which is either a “Scottish charity” within the meaning of section 13 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 or a “charity” within the meaning of section 1 of the Charities Act 2011, providing (in either case) that its objects are limited to charitable purposes;

  • Commercial Partners means any third party with whom a contract is lawfully concluded for the exploitation of the Commercial Rights;

  • Charity care means care provided by a health care

  • Alumni means any Graduate, or former Student, Faculty or Staff of the Institution.
