Charge Record definition

Charge Record means a record of a Charge that complies with our requirements (see Schedule A, paragraph 1.a(i)).
Charge Record means a record of a Charge that complies with our requirements (see Schedule B, Section 1.1). Chip Card means a Card that contains a chip on which data is stored (including Cardmember Information), which an enabled point-of-sale terminal can read in order to facilitate the processing of the Charge.

Examples of Charge Record in a sentence

  • You must submit the Charge Record in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Merchant will complete each Transaction as a single Charge Record, except as alternative methods are specifically approved by Provider in writing.

  • If the Cardmember wants to use different Cards for payment of a purchase, you may create a separate Charge Record for each Card used.

  • Merchant may limit returned merchandise or limit price adjustments, to the same extent as for sales not involving a Card, provided Merchant properly discloses its policy to the Cardholder before the sale, the limits are properly disclosed on the Charge Record before the Cardholder signs it, and the purchased goods or services are delivered to the Cardholder at the time the Transaction takes place.

  • However, if the Cardmember wants to use a single Card for payment of a purchase, you shall not divide the purchase into more than one Charge nor shall you create more than one Charge Record unless the purchase qualifies for a Delayed Delivery Charge.

  • If not providing refunds or exchanges, post notices indicating that all sales are final (e.g., at the front doors, by the cash registers, on the Charge Record and on websites and catalogs).

  • Merchant will deliver to the Cardholder an accurate and complete copy of the Charge Record, no later than the time of delivery of the goods or performance of services, using a format approved by the Card Networks and supplied by Provider.

  • Policies must be conveyed to the Card Member prior to completion of the Charge and printed on the copy of a receipt or Charge Record the Card Member signs.

  • Merchant may not transmit the Cardholder Account number or card expiration date to the Cardholder over the Internet or on the Charge Record.

  • For these Charges, you must create a Charge Record as described in paragraph 1.a above.


More Definitions of Charge Record

Charge Record means a reproducible (both paper and electronic) record of Charge that meets Amex’s requirements and the Technical Specifications. Establishments may use one of the following options:
Charge Record means the paper or electronic record of a Transaction, including, without limitation, an authorization code or settlement record, which is submitted to the Processor.

  • Line Record means information in LIDB and/or the LIDB administrative system that is specific to a single telephone number or Special Billing Number.

  • Case record means the file of personally identifiable information, whether written or electronic in form, on an individual that is collected to carry out the purposes of the division as defined in the Act and the Social Security Act. This information remains a part of the case record and is subject to these rules even when temporarily physically removed, either in whole or in part, from the file folder in which it is normally kept.

  • Group Record means information in LIDB and/or the LIDB administrative system that is common to all telephone numbers in an NPA-NXX or all Special Billing Numbers in an NXX-0/1XX.

  • Relevant Record Date means the date on which a Bondholder’s ownership of Bonds shall be recorded in the CSD as follows:

  • Vital record means that term as defined in section 2805 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.2805.
