CHAP definition

CHAP means “Community Housing Alternatives Pro- gram.”
CHAP means community health aide or community health practitioner;
CHAP has the meaning given in Section 3.22(g).

  • Following review and selection of a RAD Application, HUD will provide the PHA with a Commitment to enter into a Housing Assistance Payment (CHAP), after which the PHA will have to present a Financing Plan for HUD to approve.
