Of particular concern to the City will be safety and reliability of the Cogenerator’s switchgear design, how it interfaces with the City’s MBC switchgear, how it is intended to improve MBC’s ability to avoid electrical outages due to utility interruptions, and how the CFSM project modifications will perform under “black start” conditions.
