CESMP definition

CESMP means the Contractor’s Environmental & Social Management Plan prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer under the Contract.

Examples of CESMP in a sentence

  • Preparation of Biodiversity Management Plan (BMP) and Vegetation Removal Management Plan (which includes Afforestation activities) and ensuring both are harmonized with each other and other plans to be developed as sub-plans within CESMP.

  • Construction phase • Engineer supervision of the Contractor’s work based on CESMP (AQMP): weekly visual inspections throughout the construction phase to monitor the implementation and effectiveness of prescribed mitigation measures.

  • Develop the Site Rehabilitation Management Plan (SRMP) and include it in the Construction Environmental and Social Management Plan (CESMP).

  • The C-ESMP shall be approved prior to the commencement of construction activities (e.g. excavation, earth works, bridge and structure works, stream and road diversions, quarrying or extraction of materials, concrete batching and asphalt manufacture).
