Central Equipment definition

Central Equipment. Is that equipment for which the Consortium is authorized by the State of California to assume responsibility for refresh. The Consortium shall have responsibility to refresh (replace or upgrade) all such equipment. All equipment not designated as "Local Equipment" is Central Equipment. The physical location of the equipment is not relevant to the designation "Central."

Central Equipment means all the hardware required to run the Programs which includes, but is not limited to, central processing systems, storage facilities, power supplies, modems, communications interfaces (excluding public telecommunications lines), other Input/output devices such as printers, specialist (ticket) printers, scanners, and any related monitoring and diagnostic systems; where either:
