Cottage food operation means a person who produces or packages cottage food products only in a kitchen of that person's primary domestic residence within this state.
Licensed Operator : means any person who holds a licence granted and in force under the Law;
Designated operational area means a geographic area designated by the combatant commander or subordinate joint force commander for the conduct or support of specified military operations.
Scheduled operation time means the scheduled operating hours of the System for the month. All planned downtime on the system would be deducted from the total operation time for the month to give the scheduled operation time.
co-operative means a co-operative registered in terms of section 7 of Cooperatives Act, 2005 (Act No. 14 of 2005)
Farm operation means any activity conducted solely or primarily for the production of one or more agricultural products or commodities, including timber, for sale or home use, and customarily producing such products or commodities in sufficient quantity to be capable of contributing materially to the operator's support.
Salvage operation means any business, trade or industry engaged in whole or in part in salvaging or reclaiming any product or material, including but not limited to metals, chemicals, shipping containers or drums.
In operation means engaged in activity related to the primary design function of the source.
Discontinued Operations means operations that are accounted for as discontinued operations pursuant to Applicable GAAP of the Issuer for which the Disposal of such assets has not yet occurred.
Normal operation means the oper- ation of a program or activity without significant changes that would impair its ability to meet its objectives.
Commence operation means to begin using, on a full time basis, any equipment in a manner that represents normal operational procedures.
Railway Operation means the construction and operation under this Agreement of the relevant Railway and associated access roads and Additional Infrastructure (if any) within the relevant Railway Corridor and of the associated Lateral Access Roads, in accordance with approved proposals;
Amateur radio operator means a person licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to engage in private and experimental two-way radio operation on the amateur band radio frequencies.
Class B operator means the individual who has day-to-day responsibility for implementing applicable regulatory requirements established by the department. The Class B operator typically implements in-field aspects of operation, maintenance, and associated record keeping for the UST systems.
Storage operator means a person holding or applying for a permit.
train operator means any person who is authorised to act as the operator of a train by a licence under section 8 of the Railways Act 1993.
Railway Operation Date means the date of the first carriage of iron ore, freight goods or other products over the relevant Railway (other than for construction or commissioning purposes);
Continuously Operate or “Continuous Operation” means that when an SCR, FGD, ESP, or Other NOx Pollution Controls are used at a Unit, except during a Malfunction, they shall be operated at all times such Unit is in operation, consistent with the technological limitations, manufacturers’ specifications, and good engineering and maintenance practices for such equipment and the Unit so as to minimize emissions to the greatest extent practicable.
Class C operator means the individual responsible for initially addressing emergencies presented by a spill or release from an UST system. The Class C operator typically controls or monitors the dispensing or sale of regulated substances.
Initial Operation means the first integral operation of the complete equipment covered under the Contract with the sub-system and supporting equipment in service or available for service.
Commercial Operation means the condition of operation in which the complete equipment covered under the Contract is officially declared by the Owner to be available for continuous operation at different loads up to and including rated capacity. Such declaration by the Owner, however, shall not relieve or prejudice the Contractor of any of his obligations under the Contract.
Surgical Operation means manual and/or operative procedures for correction of deformities and defects, repair of injuries, diagnosis and cure of diseases, relief of suffering and prolongation of life.
Parallel Operation means the Generating Facility’s electrical apparatus is connected to the Transmission Provider’s system and the circuit breaker at the point of common coupling is closed. The Generating Facility may be producing electric energy or consuming electric energy at such time.
Commence commercial operation means, with regard to a unit that serves a generator, to have begun to produce steam, gas, or other heated medium used to generate electricity for sale or use, including test generation subject to the following:
Contingency operation means a military operation that results in the call or order to, or retention on, active duty of members of the uniformed services during a war or during a national emergency declared by the President or Congress.
Commercial Operations Date or "COD": The date on which Facility first achieves Commercial Operations.
