Within this document the terms used shall have the following meanings: "Accredited engineering program" means an engineering program accredited by the CEAB of CCPE, EAC of ABET or CACEI1.
The parties will develop a process for the assessment of the one year of experience for engineering graduates holding CEAB accredited degrees by the end of 2006, without which this agreement will become invalid.

It is worth noting that in the interim, the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) has now accredited six degree programs in software engi- neering (in Faculties of Engineer- ing) as satisfying the academic requirement for registration as a pro- fessional engineer in Canada.
