The CBCP Unique Site funds of $40,000 may be applied towards the cost of the lift or elevator.
Should Southgate’s total accessibility grant plus the CBCP Unique Site funds be less than the total cost of making the second floor accessible (i.e.: lift, elevator, renovation items, etc.); 50% of the remaining cost may be applied from the CBCP retrofit fund with Southgate covering the remaining 50% of costs.
The remaining 50% of the total accessibility costs will be covered by the CBCP Unique Site funds of $40,000 with the balance coming out of the CBCP retrofit funds.

Responsibilities of Southgate The Community Based Capital Project funding shall be paid to Southgate based on the Memorandum 2017 – EYCC15 – Request for Community-Based Early Years and Child Care Capital Program (CBCP).
Spring/Summer 2019 – Upon receipt of the remaining one third of CBCP funding from the Ministry, the County will forward the funds to Southgate.
In the event that the CBCP combined Unique Site and retrofit funds are insufficient to cover the remaining 50% total accessibility costs, the remaining amount will be covered by Southgate.
Southgate will be financially responsible for any overrun on the CBCP project.
