Category of propulsion energy storage system definition

Category of propulsion energy storage system means (i) a fuel storage system, or (ii) a rechargeable electric energy storage system, or (iii) a rechargeable mechanical energy storage system.

  • Energy storage system means a system which stores energy and releases it in the same form as was input.

  • Maritime cargo handling services means activities exercised by stevedore companies, including terminal operators, but not including the direct activities of dockers, when this workforce is organised independently of the stevedoring or terminal operator companies.
