Casual Shift definition

Casual Shift means the hours of work for the replacement of permanent employees for leaves including but not limited to sickness, vacation and other leaves as well as extra shifts beyond the regular complement hours.

Examples of Casual Shift in a sentence

  • Pick-Up or Casual Shift means a shift that is outside of the employee’s normal two week rotation for their position.

  • casual worker means a worker engaged by the hour and who may be dismissed or leave the employer's service at any moment without notice and except as hereinafter provided shall not be engaged for more than 30 hours per week in ordinary hours.

  • Rig means the vessel described in Recital (A) hereto and includes any share or interest therein and her engines, machinery, boats, tackle, outfit, spare gear, fuel, consumable or other stores, belongings and appurtenances whether on board or ashore and whether now owned or hereafter acquired (but excluding therefrom any leased equipment owned by third parties);

  • Martial arts weapon means a nunchaku, kama, kasari-fundo, octagon sai, tonfa or chinese star.
