Cargo Worthy definition

Cargo Worthy means a specific status of Container under which a Container is deemed worthy to be used for international transport as per the requirements prescribed by the International Convention For Safe Containers (CSC);

Related to Cargo Worthy

  • Weathertight means that in any sea conditions water will not penetrate into the vessel.

  • Seaworthy means in a reasonably fit and good condition to safely move or stay within the Port and that it will remain in a reasonably fit and good condition despite any of the ordinary perils which it may encounter during the Vessel’s stay;

  • Apprenticeable occupation means an occupation approved for apprenticeship by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.

  • cargo ship means any ship which is not a passenger ship;

  • tanker in relation to chapter 4 means an oil tanker as defined in MARPOL Annex I, regulation 1 or a chemical tanker or an NLS tanker as defined in MARPOL Annex II, regulation 1.
