Care Standards definition

Care Standards means the standard of care set out in “National Care Standards” published by the Scottish Executive and available from the Stationery Office Bookshop, 71 Lothian Road, Edinburgh EH3 9AZ.
Care Standards means the National Care Standards for Care Homes for Older People which describe what you can expect to receive from us.
Care Standards means the Health and Social Care Standards which describe what you can expect to receive from us.

  • The check for each Named Employee shall include:- a search of the list held pursuant to the Protection of Children Act 1999 where the supply of the Services may involve contact with children; and/or a search of the list held pursuant to Part VII of the Care Standards Act 2000 where the supply of Services may involve contact with vulnerable adults (as defined in that Act).

  • The Individual must be determined to have a substance use disorder diagnosis as defined in the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Illness covered and by the Access to Care Standards.


More Definitions of Care Standards

Care Standards means any Laws governing the provision or funding of aged care, disability care or any other services and supports provided to older persons or persons living with disability, including but not limited to the:

  • PCI Standards means the applicable Data Security Standards published by the PCI Security Standards Council.

  • Applicable Standards means the requirements and guidelines of NERC, the Applicable Regional Entity, and the Control Area in which the Customer Facility is electrically located; the PJM Manuals; and Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.

  • Safety Standards means all laws, union rules and trade or industry custom or codes of any kind whatsoever, in effect from the date of this Agreement through Final Acceptance of the construction work, pertaining to worker safety and accident prevention applicable to the Project and/or the construction work (including, but not limited to, rules, regulations and standards adopted pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended from time to time).

  • Security Standards means the final rule implementing HIPAA’s Security Standards for the Protection of Electronic PHI, as amended.

  • Quality Standards means the quality standards published by BSI British Standards, the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom, the International Organisation for Standardisation or other reputable or equivalent body, (and their successor bodies) that a skilled and experienced operator in the same type of industry or business sector as the Contractor would reasonably and ordinarily be expected to comply with, and as may be further detailed in the Specification.
