Cardholder Data Environment definition

Cardholder Data Environment means NEIMAN MARCUS’s technologies that store, process, or transmit payment card authentication data, consistent with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI DSS”).
Cardholder Data Environment means The Home Depot’s technologies that store, process, or transmit payment card authentication data for U.S. consumers, consistent with the phrase as used in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI DSS”).3
Cardholder Data Environment or "CDE" - is the people, processes, and technology that store, process, or transmit Cardholder Information.

  • The Home Depot shall implement and maintain reasonable controls designed to prevent and detect unauthorized modifications to critical applications or operating system files within the Cardholder Data Environment, or the unauthorized modification or creation of objects within critical system folders.

  • The Home Depot shall implement and maintain firewall policies and procedures to restrict connections between internal networks to the Cardholder Data Environment through appropriately configured hardware and software tools as part of its defense-in-depth architecture.

  • The Home Depot shall implement, where appropriate, steps designed to reasonably manage the review, and where reasonable and appropriate, adopt improved, industry-accepted payment card security technologies relevant to The Home Depot’s business and Cardholder Data Environment.

Cardholder Data Environment or “CDE” means the segmented area of the network which encompasses applications, hardware, and network services in the transmission, processing, or storing of cardholder data.

  • Production Environment means a logical group of virtual or physical computers comprised within the Cloud Environment to which the Customer will be provided with access and use the purchased Cloud Application(s) in production and for its generally marketed purpose.

  • Customer Data means any content, materials, data and information that Authorized Users enter into the production system of a Cloud Service or that Customer derives from its use of and stores in the Cloud Service (e.g. Customer-specific reports). Customer Data and its derivatives will not include SAP’s Confidential Information.

  • Privacy Shield means the European Union (EU) -U.S. and Switzerland – U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks.

  • Customer User means an employee of Customer, a Customer Affiliate or Business Partner.
