CAR Work definition

CAR Work means any work (including any Work or warranty Work) performed at any PWA Site with respect to the Project constituting “construction, alteration, or repair” within the meaning of Treasury Regulations Section 1.45-7(d)(3).7

Examples of CAR Work in a sentence

  • Within thirty (30) days after the end of each calendar month, beginning with the first calendar month after the Effective Date in which any Laborer or ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ performs CAR Work on the Project and continuing through the month in which Final Completion occurs and for any applicable calendar month thereafter when warranty work on the Project is performed, Seller shall provide to the PWA Records Agent the Monthly PWA Reporting Package for such month.

  • All Laborers and Mechanics Employed by Seller or any of its Affiliates and any Contractor or Subcontractor in the performance of any CAR Work have been and shall be paid wages and bona fide fringe benefits (or cash equivalents thereof) due at time of payment for the applicable labor classifications for such work in an amount not less than the Prevailing Wages for such work for purposes of the PWA Requirements.

  • Seller shall, and shall cause its Affiliates and any Contractor or Subcontractor to, comply with the PWA Requirements with respect any Work on the Project (including any warranty Work) that constitutes CAR Work.

  • Seller shall include, and require all Contractors and Subcontractors to include, the requirement to comply with the PWA Requirements in each Contract pursuant to which any Contractor or Subcontractor will perform CAR Work.

Related to CAR Work

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Hot Work means the performance of welding, thermal or oxygen cutting, grinding, flame heating or any other activities of a similar nature.
