Car lot definition
Car lot means an extension lot for the sale of motor vehicles that is located within the same city or township as the motor vehicle dealer’s principal place of business but is not adjacent. Parcels of prop- erty are adjacent if the parcels are separated only by an alley, street or highway that is not a controlled access facility. For the purpose of licensing motor vehicle dealers, “extension lot” has the same mean- ing as “car lot.”
