Captive Consumption definition

Captive Consumption means that the goods are not sold by the assessee but are used for consumption by him or on his behalf in the production or manufacture of other articles in the same premises or elsewhere.
Captive Consumption means the In-house/ self-consumption of the Distribution Licensee including Offices / Buildings and Guest Houses
Captive Consumption means any one of the following:

Examples of Captive Consumption in a sentence

  • To carry on the business of Electricity Generation by installing wind ▇▇▇▇▇, Hydro-Electric Generators, Thermal Power stations, gas turbine, Diesel Generating sets and any other mode of generation of electricity for Captive Consumption or for sale to other parties.

  • In case, Captive Consumption is found, it shall be the duty of Independent Engineer to inform GOI and PMC about the assessment.

Related to Captive Consumption

  • Average consumption means the average consumption by a customer of a municipal service during a specific period, which consumption is calculated by dividing by three the total measured consumption of that service by that customer over the preceding three months;
