Calling Number Delivery definition

Calling Number Delivery means a feature that enables an End User to view the directory number of the calling party on a display unit.
Calling Number Delivery means a telephone caller identification service in which the telephone number of an access line used to place a telephone call is transmitted to a telephone caller identification service subscriber.

  • Calling Name Delivery Service (CNDS means a service that enables a terminating End User to identify the calling Party by a displayed name before a call is answered. The calling Party’s name is retrieved from a calling name database and delivered to the End User’s premise between the first and second ring for display on compatible End User premises equipment.

  • Location Routing Number (LRN means the ten (10) digit number that is assigned to the network switching elements (Central Office–Host and Remotes as required) for the routing of calls in the network. The first six (6) digits of the LRN will be one of the assigned NPA NXX of the switching element.
