CAISO Shadow Settlement Module. The functionality within the SettleCore system that is used to “shadow” (i.e., independently produce) an estimate and/or validation of a CAISO settlement file and to identify potentially disputable transactions, which occur when the shadow estimates do not match the CAISO settlement file charges and payments.
