CAFE standards definition
CAFE standards means the corporate average fuel economy standards for passenger cars and 915 light trucks manufactured for sale in the United States that have been implemented pursuant to the 916 federal Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (P. L. 94-163), as amended.
CAFE standards means the federal Corporate Average Fuel Economy standards promulgated by the US Department of Transportation, pursuant to the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
