Cable Provider definition

Cable Provider means any provider of national cable television services for a fee, to consumers (whether in the private, commercial or institutional sector).
Cable Provider means (i) any Person owning or operating any cable television system and any related telephony, data or other related services businesses, or (ii) any Person owning or operating any voice, video or data service or other related services businesses operating in the franchise area in which the Company and the Subsidiaries currently operate or have a current intention to commence operations (when considered at the time the management, operation or acquisition actually commenced or was acquired); provided, however, that for purposes of this Agreement, no Person shall be deemed a “Cable Provider” solely by reason of such Person’s (x) ownership, operation, or management of any data center building or providing data center services to third parties; (y) ownership, operation, or management of any wireless telecommunications towers, or provision of construction, management, maintenance or project services in connection with wireless telecommunications towers; or (z) ownership, operation, or management of any fiber optic telecommunications networks.

  • If any such services are requested by AISD without the CITY’s consent as provided for herein, the CITY shall not be deemed to have requested them from the Cable Provider and they are unauthorized by the CITY and are not to be continued to be provided by the Cable Provider under Chapter 66.

  • In the event that AISD fails to timely pay such incremental costs within thirty (30) days from the receipt of invoice, the CITY may inform the Cable Provider that any institutional capacity services or cable services provided to AISD public schools at that time may be discontinued.

  • AISD agrees and understands that such access may be limited by future legislative amendment of Chapter 66, Texas Utility Code, or other relevant law, and that CITY has no obligation to ensure that that the Cable Provider continues to provide such services to AISD.
